1946 Chevrolet Street Rod Pickup

This truck has been street rodded and features the 350 V8 Engine with the 350 Turbo Trans. Restoration was completed in 2011.

The body on this truck is all solid and we can see they did any excellent job with the fit and finish at the time of the restoration. It's finished in the Victory Red paint that was redone in base coat clear coat. You can see it's been kept polished to a deep rich shine that has a mirror finish. The red is accented by the beautiful grill that was carried over in design from the prewar '42 model. It looks to have been redone at the time of the restoration along with both the front and rear bumper.

You'll also notice the light tan pin stripping that goes around the cab along with being on the bed and tailgate. Speaking of the bed it's straight both inside and out and has been redone with oak floors that have a beautiful finish and new stainless strips installed. To finish off the look it's sitting on a set of 18” and 20” Coy Wheels with 215/35/18 and 245/35/20 staggered tires.

Next, we will look at the interior of this '46. On the inside it's all been redone as well and is done in the light tan color scheme that flows perfectly with the exterior combo. It features the bench seat option that was completely redone with new padding and springs along with the custom two-tone cover that matches the door panels that have had new handles installed. All the glass in this pick up is in excellent condition with the side glass going up and down as it should along with having a great fit. The dash has been painted to match and it has been set up with the tilt column while having a classic styled steering wheel. The gauges have been upgraded to the White Face Autometer gauges that are all working as they should. Finishing off the interior you'll notice the carpet has been redone along with the headliner and that they both have an excellent fit along with their trim.

Finally, we will get to the heartbeat of this Chevrolet. Under the hood it's powered by the 350 V8 engine that's setup with the Four Barrel Carb with the ball milled air cleaner with matching valve covers and wire looms. This 350 is set up with Power Steering and Power Brakes. For exhaust it has manifolds with dual pipes with glass pack mufflers. The 350 V8 runs to the 350 Turbo Trans and 10 Bolt Rear End. When you look under it you can see that it's been subframe and that they done an excellent job on the install.

Everything looks solid from the front to the back. All the pans are in great condition as well. On the highway it runs out and drives great.
