Details
This 1975 Triumph TR6 is a green-over-tan convertible powered by a 2.5-liter inline-six mated to a four-speed manual transmission. Features include a black convertible top, a chrome luggage rack, dual Stromberg carburetors, and a Kenwood cassette stereo. The car went through refurbishment between 1991 and 1992. Services performed since 2013 are said to include replacement of the front brake calipers, clutch slave cylinder, alternator, and brake light switch.
The exterior was repainted in its current shade of 1975 British Racing Green in 1991, and features a black convertible top as well as chrome bumpers, a trunk-mounted luggage rack, a Talbot-style left mirror, Union Jack decals, and dual exhaust outlets.
Steel 15″ wheels are fitted with TR6-logo center caps, polished trim rings, and Vredestein Sprint ST tires.
The interior was retrimmed with tan leather upholstery covering the bucket seats and matching door panels. Features include a woodgrain dashboard with a lockable glove box, a wooden shift knob, Triumph-branded rubber floor mats, a heater, and a Kenwood cassette stereo. The headlight and brake light switches were replaced.
The three-spoke steering wheel with a Triumph horn button frames Smiths instrumentation consisting of a 140-mph speedometer and a tachometer, while additional gauges displaying fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and battery voltage are housed within the dashboard. The five-digit odometer is believed to have been reset during the refurbishment and currently shows under 8k miles, with total mileage unknown.
